Slavery is Inhuman, Unethical and Abnormal.

Slavery is the act of lowest degradation of the
humankind. Slavery isn't supposed to exist, but it did and thankfully has been
eradicated (as we think) because Unfortunately Slavery still exists in
Mauritania

""On this land, everybody is exploited." The
vast Saharan nation didn't make slavery a crime until 2007. Only one slave
owner has been successfully prosecuted."  (http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2012/03/world/mauritania.slaverys.last.stronghold/index.html
)

" Slavery in Mauritania is an
entrenched phenomenon the national government has repeatedly tried to abolish,
banning the practice in 1905, 1981, and August 2007. The descendants of black
Africans abducted into slavery now live in Mauritania as "blacks" or haratin and partially still
serve the "Moors" (Arabs), or bidhan, as slaves. The number of
slaves in the country was not known exactly, but it was estimated to be up to
600,000 men, women and children, or 20% of the population  of 3,069,000
people. Even though slavery is illegal, sociologist Kevin Bales believes that
Mauritania is the country with the largest proportion of its population in
slavery. Mauritanian organizations like Al'Hor الحر (translated as "the
free"), In'itaq إنعتاق (translated as "emancipation") and SOS
Esclaves (meaning "SOS Slaves" in French) work against slavery. A United Nations mission,
headed by UN
Special Rapporteur
and mission leader Gulnara Shahinian, was in Mauritania
in November 2009 to evaluate slavery practices in the country. The mission's
findings were presented to the United
Nations Human Rights Council
(UNHRC) in August
2010
" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_Mauritania
)

For hundreds of years slavery is deeply rooted
within society across the country. The Haratine are the group most affected by
slavery practices and are traditionally owned by Bidane, or white moors, the
minority ruling elite of Arab-Berber descent in Mauritania. Historically the
white moors raided and enslaved people from the indigenous black population and
today, all cases of slavery in Mauritania involve people whose ancestors were
enslaved before them. Slavery status is an inherited status. This age-old
distinction underpins the very nature of slavery in Mauritania whereby
individuals are assigned to a 'slave caste' which is ascribed at birth. Those
in slavery are devoid of all their fundamental human rights, are owned and controlled
by their masters, and are treated like their property. They are forced to work
for their masters throughout their lives and are never paid for their work.
They do what their masters tell them to do or they are threatened and abused.

Kindly help and deliver these FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS
from their inhuman condition. help make this petition reach the ears of the
world leaders.

Thanks
