The Irish Hills Towers have been standing as a beacon of Southeast Michigan since 1924 when they began drawing people to the area as automobile use gained popularity. Over the years the building has changed, but their iconic place in the history of the Irish Hills has not. In 2007 the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places and in 2010 the Irish Hills Historical Society was established to try to restore the structure. In April 2013 the property was officially deeded to the non-profit to help boost financial support of the project. The local Township sent an engineer to inspect the structure and his findings have created great urgency to raise funds. As of now, the Historical Society has until July 2013 to raise $200,000. Are you willing to help spread the word and give what you can in order to "Save the Towers?"
