One Millennial-led project from the
College to Career Pathways Summit in Detroit will take home the Mobilize.org
Viewer's Choice Award. We need your help to join us in raising $1,000 to
provide additional funding to one incredible project implemented by Detroit
About the Summit
On April 5-7, the College to Career Pathways Summit in Detroit started off in full force as we had the pleasure of convening over 80 Detroit Millennials who enhanced their leadership abilities and were driven to implement solutions to the social problems they face. We were also fortunate to be accompanied by numerous inspiring speakers, who empowered these young rising leaders to reach their full potential, and motivated them to make a difference in their communities through their proposed solutions.
During the summit, participants were able to prioritize their solutions into a project in which they addressed to other C2CP participants through a 5-minute pitch. C2CP participants then voted on their favorite most well thought out projects, and the top 5 projects were chosen to win a share of $25,000 from Mobilize.org funding, as well as expert support given by Mobilize.org.
About the Competition
At the summit finale, we had the privilege to award funding to the top five innovative Millennial-led projects as chosen by our C2CP participants through interactive key pad voting. The winners received a share of $25,000 and a year of fellowship support from Mobilize.org.
NOW, we need your help to decide which project will win the Mobilize.org's Viewer's Choice Award, along with $1,000 in funding. There are 12 projects in the running. Each submitted a one-minute video pitch on why they deserve to be the C2CP Viewer's Choice Award winner. You'll be able to vote on each project once, and rate them from one to five stars. The video with the most votes by the deadline of April 29th, will receive the title and a $1,000 prize.
Donate today in order help provide the Viewer's Choice Award, and please don't forget to vote on the projects to help select the one to receive this award! Visit http://mobilize.org/viewers-choice-award/ in order to vote for your favorite.
