We the undersigned call for our Government and Tax Department to start investigating BACKYARD animal breeders, and ON-LINE puppy farmers.

These people are TAX cheaters!

The rest of us have to pay our Taxes each year, so why shouldn't they?

Australians are now becoming increasingly aware that animals are abused and neglected daily. It is a saddening fact that OVER 350 homeless dogs are killed in Australian pounds every day. Factory farming dogs is feeding this slaughter.. therefore we ask the Australian Parliament and ATO to make dog breeding for profit illegal.

There are many groups and organisations who fight an uphill battle to stop this cruelty to animals. We, as citizens of Australia, are speaking up now and call on our Government and Taxation Department to fix these problems. Animal overpopulation is becoming a huge problem in Australia. Greedy backyard breeders get richer each and every day. Although some Registered breeders might actually care, many of the backyard breeders are careless when it comes to the well being of the animals; they only want their money. As a result of this greed, the numbers of euthanised animals is skyrocketing each year.

Sincerely...

Signed,

"Breed & Greed: ATO Make Backyard Breeders Pay Their Tax!"

Given the poor reputation many backyard breeders and puppy and kittens farmers have gained, through the cruel treatment of companion animals over many years, it is long overdue that the entire industry was brought under tight regulation. There has been one too many instances where the cruelest circumstances have taken place for animals in the care of breeders across the entire state. Child care centres are regulated, builders are regulated, indeed every industry has their due legislation and regulations to abide by, so it is long overdue that the breeders of companion animals require this as well.

Our main aim here essentially is asking the Australian Tax Office to investigate backyard breeders & on-line puppy farmers and enforce Laws to make them declare their income & pay their taxes in the appropriate manner. Given the industry in question is basically cash-in-hand, none of this gets declared.

The rest of us honest people pay Taxes ..so why shouldn't they?
