Everyone needs a HERO
, especially when life gets tough.
Nearly 1,000 parents will find the courage to ask for help to send their
daughters to summer camp this year. They just don't have the money, not even
for a week at camp.
Our Campership Fund provides financial assistance to girls who would like to
Scout summer camp
but cannot afford it.
We would love to be able to fill every request, but we need your help.
At camp, she will be a kid again – because of you. Being unplugged in nature
changes girls forever! At camp, girls build:
Be a HERO
Courage - Facing her fears: leaving home for the first time, spending a
week with people she has never met before, sleeping outside in the dark. She
learns she is okay!
Confidence - Trying things she never thought possible: hitting the
archery target, cooking over a wood fire, singing in front of a crowd. She
discovers she can do it!
Character - Developing a strong sense of self: encouraging others as
they try new things, getting along with everyone despite their differences,
taking responsibility for herself and others. She realizes she can be a leader!
. Make this summer one she will always remember.Give today.
