2013 is the year for CIR! A reform bill must include family unity which includes the reunification of those living in exile. Anything short of that isn't a true and fair reform.
We're not asking for a handout, we're asking that our families be given the chance to correct their wrongs without the unjust bars being placed on them. We're asking that our families remain together as we go through this difficult and stressful time. We understand the action of crossing the border without papers, and or over staying visa's was wrong, we accept that we need to ask pardon of our leaders and we are doing that now.
Those who are currently in removal proceedings: we are asking that these people receive a fair chance as well. Until a bill has passed, we are asking that the family members of US citizens not be deported while they are attempting to correct their wrong.
We're asking for the compassionate reform that Obama mentioned in January. We're asking that the foundation of this country remain in tact, family!
Mark 10:8-9 and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

By signing this petetion you are standing shoulder to shoulder with families all across the country, and those in exile. You're allowing your voice to be heard so that no one family suffers the heartache of being seperated.
Our immigration system is out of date and seriously broken. Mass deportation is never the solution, the cost is devistating to an already stressed economy. Seperating children from their parents is moraly and ethically wrong. The children left in foster care, and those left without one or both bread winners are subject to having a lower quality of life than those in a two parent household. These families losing their spouse who may have been the only provider, would likely end up on governement assistance. There is no reason not to sign this petition.
