Dear supporters and friends,
The 1ClickDonation contest ended with a big surprise for me. ROLDA finished on 9 position, with almost 2000 votes of trust from our loyal supporters or other compassionate animal lovers.
I noticed with pride and gratitude that we/ROLDA finished as the first foreign charity, all the others 8 charities which got more votes than us were Italian charities. We were also followed by a number of Italian charities. The next foreign charity from the top was many votes behind us.
I am grateful that there are many of you who respect what we do for Romanian street dogs, who decided (and I have to repeat myself) to give us a vote of trust which means enormously to me. Leaving aside the hate campaign against our charity, which last from years, almost 2000 people offered us a click to help us win.
More important than money, for me personally it was a test to see how receptive people with modest financial possibilities are to give us a FREE CLICK which couldn't be influenced logically by the economic crises because there were no finances involved...Just simply put it, the people willingness to waste a few seconds of their time to contribute to our charity performance.
I just wanted to express my deep gratitude, again - but ever enough - to each and all of you who voted ROLDA on 1clickdonation contest and normally, next time we'll attend something similar I will count on each of you help.
