Hip Hop is a universal language that can cure oppression, that can unite mass populations of people, and used by anyone. The Hawai'i Hip Hop scene is a thriving and promising culture with artist that just want to share their talents and reach out to people in a positive way. Events has been thrown for charities, causes, and also workshops were open to help college adults expressive themselves and share their stories. Hip Hop is our lives it has shaped us in ways unimaginable, and with the perfect blend of Aloha spirit only found in Hawai'i makes Hawai'i Hip Hop one of a kind. Help us make a appreciation day for those who spoke for the people who can't, for those who are making the sacrifices going after a dream that many told they can't accomplish, for those who lives has changed for the best, for those utilizing this art form in a positive way, for the promoters who influence local talent, for the families and friends that  supported their local artist from the very beginning. This is to show the children that hip hop culture is not what you see on TV, but what we go through everyday in our lives.
