TNTDallas

I am a huge fan of the original Dallas and the new one since my mom got me hooked on the first season of the new Dallas when it aired last August. I think the second season is even greater, suspenseful, and exciting then the first. My mom and I both love the new series that continues where the original left off 20 years later. She even thinks the writing of the new Dallas is better then the old one and not too soap-opera like as the original one attended to be at times. I read young people like myself between the ages 18-45 are mostly watching it. If that is the case people who are still alive who loved the original series and much older like my mother why arent they watching it as well? Do they think it is just a remake or do they not realize the continuing of where the original show left off will be even worth watching or just as great as the 80's Dallas or maybe even somewhat better?? This I dont understand!!

To keep a wonderful, exciting, fun, and thrilling series going for as long as it can and should. I hope this series will last 14 years as the original Dallas. People should watch this show to get their grandchildren or children interested in Dallas and to keep the legacy of the original alive forever as well as the memory of Larry Hagman who passed away this past November. Though the show wont ever be the same without Jr, I have faith that Josh Henderson who plays his son, John Ross, will be able to keep his legacy alive by continuing his dirty tricks, back-stabbing, evil grins, and many scandals through the remainder of the series. Larry Hagman may be gone but Im sure he is looking down from heaven praying his legacy as Jr will live on through Josh Henderson, and Dallas will be just as successful as the original. I think out of respect of Dallas' legacy and out of Hagman's the show should continue for a long time and make the older generation who have passed on like Jim Davis and Barbara BelGeddess proud wherever they are. Larry's last wish was to continue playing many's favorite TV villian till the day he died which his wish was granted, and I think he would be deeply saddened and upset to know after he was no longer able to continue his famous role due to his untimely passing and the show's drop in ratings worldwide. For the show's shake, Hagman's memory's shake, and our grandchildren or children who didn't grow up with the original Dallas please please sign the petition and spread the word!!! You can also help by watching Dallas every Monday night at 9/8 PM central on channel TNT!!!! I will be very saddened if this show is cancelled after only two seasons on the air. As Larry Hagman might have said himself, "Darling, the impossible isn't impossible. Let's keep this series alive and continuing as succesful as Ewing Oil was at one time during my younger years. We'll show them Dallas can continue with or without me, Jr Ewing." ;)
