PLEASE ANIMAL LOVERS GET BEHIND THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE.
To honor little Catherine's memory.
Little Catherine would be so thrilled to know that the Animals she loved so much had a place where neglected, abused or homeless animals can get a second chance at life, a place for children and adults to connect with animals and the natural world. Animals have an amazing capacity to love and heal the human spirit. We hope Catherine will think it is the most beautiful place on Earth.
I URGE ALL ANIMAL LOVING HUMANS TO HELP GET THIS ANIMAL SANCTUARY BUILT.
The family of one of the students killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting is asking people to donate to build a new animal sanctuary in her name.
Animal sanctuary to be built in memory of Sandy Hook victim.
Plants for the sanctuary are still developing, so it is not yet known how big it will be or how many animals it could house.
They hope to have it open within five years.
The Animal Center has received so many positive notes about the planned sanctuary that they have launched a dedicated Facebook page for the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary.
Donations may be made through The Animal Center's website or by mail to The Animal Center, Attn: Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary, PO Box 475, Newtown, CT 06470.
THIS INFORMATION COMES FROM ..
The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary is a collaborative Labor of Love between the Hubbard family and The Animal Center
To create a place where all creatures, great and small, can know the touch of a kind hand and be safe from harm.
On December 14, 2012, a gunman entered Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown and took the lives of twenty innocent children and six adults.
The unthinkable had happened and for people everywhere, the world stopped.
One of the victims was six-year-old Catherine Violet Hubbard, a beautiful child who loved animals and loved to smile.
