AS OF RIGHT NOW THIS BILL IS DEAD.

This bill needs to be reintroduced this session in Congress by any member. Then the Secretary of Transportation Committee Chair, Congressman Bill Schuster, determines whether the bill will move past the committee stage.

It ensures airlines must seat children under 12 with a guardian or parent over 18 (when present) on flights. Airlines are now separating children from their parents and placing them alone in separate sections of airplanes. This is being done even when seats have been preselected together. This bill ensures the safety and well being of minors on airlines. It also places the responsibility of the child back to the parents.
