How this will help

Domestic violence is a pattern of coercive behavior in which one person attempts to control another through threats or actual use of physical violence, sexual assault, and verbal or psychological abuse. Anyone can be a victim of abuse, no matter their race, age, gender, sexual orientation, education or income level. Everyone deserves to be safe in their relationship. Help Safe Voices in the fight against intimate partner violence by pledging to end domestic abuse in 2013.

The time is now to take a stand against violence:

Call Safe Voices, or your local domestic violence resource center, and get involved! Volunteer, donate, or simply have a conversation about domestic violence to educate yourself on the issue.

Safe Voices has educators in each county to provide presentations and trainings for community groups, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, employers, and anyone else interested in the issue of domestic violence. They also coordinate awareness-raising events throughout the community. All workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of individual audiences.
