To His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI
C/o Rev. Msgr. Gänswein, Private Secretary
00120 Vatican City State
In a spirit of filial love and obedience, we, as members of the People of God, wish to humbly bring before you our petition and prayer for the solemn papal definition of the revealed role of Mary most holy as the Spiritual Mother of all peoples under its three principal aspects as Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate.
We firmly believe, Holy Father, that the solemn papal declaration of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Spiritual Mother of all humanity in her roles which God has given her as Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate will bring great graces to the Church and the world by an explicit solemn recognition of her maternal role on the part of the Church, and thus allowing her to exercise fully the motherly gift which Jesus Christ gave to humanity from the cross: “Woman, behold, your son! … Behold, your mother!” (Jn. 19:26-27). We believe that this dogmatic proclamation will also further the authentic ecumenical mission of the Church by proclaiming the revealed truth about Mary, who collaborated in an altogether unique way in the work of our redemption in a manner that was completely subordinate to and dependent upon Jesus Christ, the one divine Redeemer of the human race.
In view of the many serious crises presently facing the entire human family, including war, terrorism, moral decline, and natural disaster, we humbly request that you solemnly declare the dogma of Mary as the Spiritual Mother all peoples, specifying that she is the Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces, and Advocate, and thus to provide for the full actuality of her motherly roles of intercession for humanity, which we believe will effect a profound historic and continuing grace for the Church and for the world.

The papal proclamation of Mary as the Spiritual Mother of Humanity according to her three-fold function as Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate, will, as it were, constitute the Church's and humanity's collective "fiat" to the Mother of God; that is, a solemn, collective "consecration" of the Church and the world to Mary's Immaculate Heart. Mary is only able to fully exercise her role as Mediatrix of All Grace with respect to those who have fully entrusted or consecrated themselves to her. This truth pertains not only to individual Christians, in particular, but additionally to the Mystical Body of Christ, or, the Church, as a whole, of which Mary is the Spiritual Mother.
There are significant theological reasons to believe that a dogmatic definition of Mary's Spiritual Motherhood of Humanity according to her three-fold role as Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate, made specifically by the Holy Father via an infallible, "ex Cathedra" pronouncement, would procure, for the Church and humanity, a super-abundant outpouring of Mary's Divine Spouse, the Holy Spirit, upon the Church and the world. According to numerous converging Marian prophecies, many of which have received Church-approval (such as the revealed-portion of the text of the "Third Secret of Fatima"), the Blessed Virgin has prophetically revealed that an entirely supernatural, wolrd-wide event shall come to pass in the near future. According to numerous, strikingly similar descriptions, this "event" shall resemble a "judgment in miniature," whereby each human person on the planet shall have their soul illumined by the divine light of the Holy Spirit. Thus, each individual shall "see," or "experience," the true state of their soul, just as it is seen by God Himself. Second only to the redemption of humanity accomplished by Christ on the altar of the Cross, this "Warning," as it has been referred to, shall constitute one of the greatest acts or manifestations of God's Divine Mercy, as it shall result in a radical, widespread conversion of souls, within these perilous times of the great apostosy, with so many souls running the grave danger of being eternally lost.
This is precisely why Our Blessed Lady is calling for souls to gather together in "Cenacles" of prayer with her, in order that what occurred at the time of the first coming of Christ - a profound outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles, gathered together with Our Lady in Prayer - may again occur within these times leading up to His second glorious coming - a "Second Pentecost" that shall purify the hearts and souls of men and renew the face of the earth, in preparation for our Lord's glorious return; that eschatacological reality which constitutes an essential tenet of our Christian faith, so much so that it's reality is included within each of the various formulations of our Christian Creed.
Each of the above articulated realities shall ultimately give rise to a "new-era" of Christianity - a new "springtime" for the Church and the world. This shall constitute the promised "Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary," a prophetic announcement made by the Virgin herself in 1917, at Fatima, where she additionally confirmed that this "period of peace would be granted to mankind."
Thus, let each of us hasten to consecrate ourselves, our families, our nations and our world to the Immaculate Heart of a Mother whose love for us is truly beyond anything we could ever begin to imagine. While Christ is certainly the sole Mediator between the Eternal Father and humanity, both Scripture and Tradition additionally and unequivocally testify to the doctrinal truth of Mary's unique and profound role as the Mediatrix between humanity and her divine Son, as she never ceases to teach us: "Do whatever He tells."
