We urge you to act with urgency and send letters, emails or fax messages to:
1. Stop the killings of indigenous peoples in the Philippines;
2. End the widespread militarization and blatant violation of IPs' collective and human rights;
3. Justice for the 168 extrajudicial killings of IPs under the Arroyo administration and all victims of human rights violations. Arrest, prosecute and punish all perpetrators of human rights violations;
4. Immediately conduct an independent and transparent investigation of the 30 extrajudicial killings under the Aquino administration;
5. Urge the Philippine government to abandon the counterinsurgency program Oplan Bayanihan, which victimizes innocent and unarmed civilians;
6. Pull out military and paramilitary troops from indigenous communities. Dismantle the Sanmatrida, Salakawan, TRIOM, Task Force Gantangan, Bulif, Alamara, Bagani Force and other paramilitary groups and private armies;
7. Stop all destructive "development projects" in IPs' ancestral territories. Review all permits of large-scale mining, hydro-electric plants, plantations, and commercial logging;
8. Urge the Philippine Government to abide to the the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all the major Human Rights instruments and the UN Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) to which it is signatory and bound to observe; and
9. Uphold indigenous peoples rights to land and self-determination.
