What will the petition say?
1975 was the pivotal year in the Vietnam War. In early April 1975, U.S. President Gerald Ford, a WWII Vet, in a profound humanitarian act, backed by two million dollars in Congressional funding, announced Operation Babylift (OBL) that would authorize the evacuation of several thousand orphans from Vietnam on a series of 30 planned flights. Operation Babylift saved approximately 4,000 Vietnamese children to freedom in America and all over the world by the end of April 1975.
