I petition that it be mandatory for law enforcement to have annual training in regards to domestic violence and it's mental, emotional, physical, and social impact.
I petition that it be mandatory for a female law enforcement officer to deal with any domestic violence calls that the abused is female.
I petition that a Services to Aid Families worker also be present during the visit to the location being reported within 12 hours.
I petition that Family Court visitation make it mandatory for biological fathers with a history of domestic violence to visit their child (children) in a public setting with trained professionals around.
I petition that Family Court hearings allow the mother to not be present in the court room when biological fathers are present.
The U.S Office of Violence Against Women states that this abusive pattern is done in order to maintain power over a former intimate partner, so then, currently the Court Houses of New York State are playing a bi-partisanship in every single family court case that involves domestic violence because it is currently mandatory for both parties to be present, even in well known domestic violence cases.
I also petition that the abused party be held responsible for any further cooperation in the relationship and be held responsible for consequences if they do partake in such. Allowing an abuser to abuse is also abuse. Though not as serious consequences as for the abuser, the abused must know that there are serious consequences for continuing to remain active in such illegal activity.
Lastly, I petition that every abuser be mandatory to take a lengthy training in personal and family health education, especially in the responsibility of behavior within one's family and society.

The mental and emotional delusional inclinations in a domestic violent relationship are comparative to someone on drugs. The scale of logic within the abused persons mind is broken. It is up to community to help them out.
1 out of 4 women are abused in their lifetime. 1 out of 6 are raped. Most female victims die during a pregnancy. Currently NYS court systems have made it mandatory for both parties of a domestic violence situation be present during court, directly supporting domestic abuse as defined by US Office of Domestic Violence. Currently uneducated, male officers respond to calls of domestic violence where the female is victim. This is not acceptable. Currently, children are allowed to spend unsupervised time with parents with history of domestic violence. This is not acceptable.
This cause needs a legislative voice to help stomp out the prevalence and quiet injustice within families and homes of domestic violence, increase the consequences to reverse domestic violence recidivism, hold law enforcement responsible for appropriate and efficient education and protocol when handling domestic violent situations, and hold the courts responsible for discontinuing the abuse and protecting parties in court cases where domestic violence is present.
