Below is the Thirteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution; it’s the Amendment we were taught in Jr. High School that Abolished All Slavery after the American Civil War, however, if you notice it has an Exception for Slavery.
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, EXCEPT AS A PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME WHEREOF THE PARTY SHALL HAVE BEEN DULY CONVICTED, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
We don’t want any EXCEPTIONS for Slavery in America, "or any place subject to their jurisdiction"; and we therefore, petition to change the Thirteenth Amendment to state:
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, NOT EVEN AS A PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME, shall exist within the United States, nor any place subject to their jurisdiction."
The objective is to remove this EXCEPTION FOR SLAVERY WITH the return of Citizenship, Constitutional, Civil, Human, Labor, Familial, and Economic Rights.
This petition will be presented to the above elected officials, and to official international representative bodies; however we can not and we will not hold our breath waiting for them to respond. Therefore, this petition will also be delivered to mass news media (domestic and Foreign), to community leaders, and to respected national and local organizations.
To Abolish the Prison Slavery EXCEPTION found in the Slavery 13th Amendment; within prisons and jails across this savage nation; with the return citizenship, labor, human, constitutional, and familial rights of all people.
