Dear Road service and the Minister for regional development, Danny Kennedy. Despite continuous requests followed by continuous refusals, We the people of south East Antrim request that the Busy largy Road in Crumlin Co.Antrim be included in the Road service gritting schedule. The largy Road may not be a "main through" road however it is one of the busiest roads in the Antrim region. This road is an industrial and residential area with four large employers Including Langford lodge, Randox, Debenhams, Maxwells Frieght and smaller businesses. We urge you to take "Immediate action" before a fatality occurs.( Several accidents inc this week and near misses have occured over the past three years)

please sign to escalate this issue to the Minister in charge of Road service. This week an accident occured and several people encountered difficulty in driving safely on this route. Unfortunately there is no other gritted road to access residential or places of work on this route. Despite continuous requests to road service from cllrs and the police road service again have refused stating the largy road does not fit the gritting criteria because it is not a through road and is deemed as a Cul-de -sac !!!!! To this end I believe rd service need to seriously consider their gritting criteria before a life is lost on the Largy road. Please sign this petition and pass on
