Sign the Petition to Corporations Investing in Burma (see list below)

This petition closed 3 months ago

At Oxford University in June, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi asked for the help of the international community to ensure that the nascent democratic process in Burma does not get derailed by abuses of power.

With the removal of all economic sanctions, there is a significant likelihood that human rights and democracy will be undermined by the flood of corporations entering Burma. Corporations can be an engine to create positive democratic changes in the country, and we want them to know we are counting on their commitment to doing so.

Please support Burma's fledgling democracy by signing this petition. Your voice matters. The greater our collective voice, the greater our ability to influence the actions of corporations investing in Burma.
