DEAR SUPPORTERS,
BELOW IS A SAMPLE LETTER YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE TO AN E-MAIL AND FACEBOOK OF SECRETARY SALAZAR. PLEASE SEE INFORMATION AT THE END OF THIS PROPOSED MESSAGE.

Dear Secretary of the Interior Salazar,
I have just learned that listed under the Endangered Species Act is the Brakenbatcave Mesh Weaver Spider, which is very rare. My research reveals that it was listed on the endangered species because of its rarity. A $15,000,000 San Antonio highway underpass construction project was halted when this spider was found in a hole near the construction site. The entire $15,000,000 project was SCRAPPED because of a certain SPIDER! I understand why the spider is on the endangered species list, but cannot understand why the wolves were removed from the endangered species list and have no federal protection. The wolves are now being executed and slaughtered in many states of America. This is not conservation...it is murder of the wolves.

No consideration has been given to the fact that wolves are part of the eco-system, and keep the populations of deer, elk, and moose at bay. You have given in to hunters who are actually in competition for those animals because these trophy hunters want deer, elk and moose heads mounted on their walls in their homes. Now they can have wolf heads.

The Fish and Wildlife Service, under your jurisdiction, published the following number of wolf populations in the Western states:
1. Washington State: 27 wolves
2. Oregon: 59 wolves
3. California: 1 wolf
4. Montana: 653 wolves
5. Wyoming: 328 wolves before the 10/1/12 hunt began
6. Idaho: 746

Based on the above numbers, how can you possibly take the position wolves have reached a population growth wherein they don't need federal protection under the U.S. Endangered Species Act? Many of the states are falling like dominos to allow the killing of wolves, and one legislator even described them as vermin!

I ask that you reverse the decision to delist wolves as an endangered species. I believe the mistake of delisting wolves has led to the many, many states allowing wolves to be classified as game, and can be slaughtered.

NOTE TO SUPPORTERS: (Secretary Salazar's e-mail address is feedback@ios.doi.gov.) Please go to www.causes.com/787922-stop-wolf-trapping-in-montana/actions/1689760?utm_campaign=home to read the proposed e-mail and Facebook post. If that does not work, please go to www.causes.com/save wolves, and look for "You Save Spiders, But Not Wolves."

Please copy and paste this e-mail, or change it to your liking, or please write your own. Stop wolf trapping in Montana is my user name; they use the first activity one does to give you a user name; so please don't be confused.

It's for the wolves!! We must save them!
