Pledge to attend the protest to save Indonesian wildlife and rainforests and support Indonesian environmentali

This pledge closed about 2 months ago

WHO: Global Justice for Animals and the Environment, Rainforest Relief, and YOU!

WHAT: A small protest with a banner, placards, and a tiger costume representing the Sumatran tiger endangered by the destruction of Indonesia's rainforests

WHEN: Monday, September 24th from 11:30AM-1PM

WHERE: Conrad Hotel New York, 102 North End Avenue at River Terrace, Manhattan, NYC (Directions below.)

WHY: Indonesian Investment Day is an event where CEO's and CFO's from industries that profit from the destruction of Indonesia's endangered rainforests - palm oil, coal, oil and gas, and pulp and paper companies - will meet with US institutional investors (e.g. Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, Morgan Stanley, etc.) to hob nob and make deals. We'll be there to let investors know that investing in ecologically destructive industries in Indonesia is a high-risk investment - and to let the public know about US corporations who seek to profit from destroying rainforests

CONTACT: Tim at (917) 543-4064 or Adam at (718) 218-4523 or email savethetiger @ gjae.org
