American Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock, Texas

Dear American Museum of Agriculture Director and Board members,
we the undersigned are extremely disturbed that your museum recently purchased two old mules from a local horse and mule trader and then euthanized them for a "realistic" farm display.
One mule was apparently 28 years old and the other was 32.
The whole issue is extremely saddening and the Board of Directors need to be held accountable for this act of Animal cruelty.
Sincerely ...

Signed,

Jessy Svetanoska

American Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock, Texas - kills two healthy mules for art exhibit...
Word that two, still perfectly healthy mules were purchased at an auction for the sole purpose of being killed and stuffed for a museum exhibit has sent thousands of individuals into a tailspin of anger and dismay.
The museum claimed that they paid $3,000 for two mules, 28 and 32 years of age, who were destined for slaughter.
