Jetta's Story:
http://www.kjrh.com/dpp/news/local_news/investigation-into-rogers-county-dog-death-over#ixzz25bnEtxWw

Jetta was a beautiful lab mommy who just gave birth to puppies. Last weekend, Jetta was found by her owners on the side of a road in Rogers County, Oklahoma. Jetta had been taken, her back legs bound with wire and dragged for at least one mile. Her skin peeled off and stuck to the asphalt on the road. Her bones broke through and protruded from whatever skin was left. Jetta is dead and her young litter of puppies are left without a mother and a loving family lost their loving lab to what can only be described as a heinous act driven by pure unadulterated evil.

Due to an increase in the bounty for this heartless and poor excuse for a human(s) that did this to Jetta, a person has turned himself in to authorities according to September 5, 2012 news reports, and admitted brutally killing Jetta. And yet the news also reports that Sheriff Scott Walton says his office's part of the investigation is over, no charges against Jetta's killer and that the case is in the District Attorney's hands for review. The District Attorney's office is awaiting some report and that "it could take weeks" before they will release any information.

If this person admitted to this horrific crime, why are there not charges? Why is this individual's identity being protected? Why the delay - so the media attention will die down perhaps? So the world will forget the unforgivable?

Signed,

Manny DaDane

How this will help

It is a proven fact that a significant proportion of animal abusers go on to both abuse and/or kill human beings. Allowing this person to walk free after admitting guilt is like condoning abuse...

It is a proven fact that a significant proportion of animal abusers go on to both abuse and/or kill human beings. Allowing this person to walk free after admitting guilt is like condoning abuse and murder. This person is sick and needs to be stopped before anyone else is hurt or killed.

Let's make it known that we will not forget what happened to Jetta and that We The People are watching to make sure the government does their jobs and charges and punishes this criminal for what can only be described as pure, unadulterated evil against a living being. Jetta will not be swept under any rug!
