My baby was diagnosed with Childhood Cancer at the age of 4 and suffered 3 and a half long years of painful, torturous and toxic treatments ONLY TO SUCCUMB TO AN EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL DEATH…….
I live each day with the pain and grief of not only losing my child but of watching him suffer.

I am not alone in this and my child is only one of the tens of thousands of children who have fought Childhood Cancer and lost their battle. And tens of thousands more are suffering right now thru the same toxic and painful treatments my son did. Those that do survive suffer lifetime health problems from the toxic chemotherapies and experimental treatments used to save their lives.

Childhood Cancer is no laughing matter and the use of it as a joke on the movie Ted is unforgivable. At one point in the movie Ted says "No peeking or you will get kid cancer" It is obvious that no one associated with this movie has ever been close to a child with cancer. Each and every one of them should visit a hospital oncology floor and talk to the children and their families so they can see the pain and suffering these children must endure.

People need to be made aware that Childhood Cancer is real, it is painful and often times fatal. The public needs to know and understand that Childhood Cancer can happen to any child of any culture, race, religion, and any socioeconomic background.

I have dedicated my life, as have so many others, to raising awareness of the realities of Childhood Cancer and the fact that Universal Pictures would put a line like this in one of their movies which is watched by millions of people all over the world is abominable.

I ask that you please sign this petition and pass this on to everyone you know so that the world and all involved in the making of this movie will understand that Childhood Cancer is real and it is NOT worthy of a joke.

Childhood Cancer is no joke, for this reason everyone should sign this petition, The use of Childhood Cancer as a joke in the movie Ted is nothing short of apalling. Universal Pictures, it's Producers, Directors and Writers of Ted should be ashamed of themselves and should publicly apologize to the children suffering this horrific disease and their families. In recognition of this monstrous act of inhumanity they should donate a portion of the proceeds from this film to Childhood Cancer Research.
