Pledge to

Write a letter to the DEP

How this will help

Dear Liberty Lake Coalition Member,

It has been an exciting and productive week for the Liberty Lake Coalition! From last Tuesday’s standing room only public hearing to the widespread coverage we’ve been getting in the press, we hope to have gotten the DEP’s attention. To build on this momentum, we have a window of opportunity through July 11th to submit written comments to the DEP regarding Mansfield’s Wastewater Management Plan. These written comments carry as much weight as the public statements made at last week’s hearing. We are urging all members of the Liberty Lake Coalition to PLEASE take the time to draft a written or typed letter to the DEP. The Margolis warehouse project has received most of its needed permits already, and our best chance to alter their plans is by documenting our stormwater and wastewater concerns to the DEP in the next week.

In your letter, please highlight at least one of the environmental impacts. A complete overview of the environmental issues, as well as our positions and the issues at hand is available at

Thank you in advance for your support. Taking a few minutes out of your day to write this letter can make a big difference in preserving the future of Liberty Lake -Remember we only have until July 11!!!
