Anyone can support this. It's in my head when I lay down at night knowing that someone out there is doing harm to themselves. Someone out there is committing suicide. Self-Harm is the biggest sign of suicide. Not all the time will person want to die, but the majority of the time, that person, feels and thinks that they're just breathing and not living. That they are a burden to every other person they come in contact with. It's heart breaking to watch on the news that some child in school committed suicide because they were so stressed out and felt the need to take their own life away. That child felt that no one cared about them. When in fact, the people that loved that child are in so much pain, and those family members blame themselves for not looking for signs. Well this petition is to help parents, grandparents, and guardians realize; take a look at your child. Ask them a second time if they are alright. That bit of enforcement, is saying, "I care about you, and I love you, please talk to me whenever you need me" I know when my mother said to me, "I'm always here for you baby, I love you, and I want you to feel that someone is always there" I felt alone, still, and nothing could change that. But sometimes when another person pushes the limit, and makes the Self-Harmed crack, then you know that something is really wrong. Take a chance, and support this.

Because every 40 seconds there is a person who commits suicide do to bullying, or abuse at home. Being judged for the way one looks or talks. And simply because some people are depressed and do not know why. It's unexplained to them and anyone who knows the person who Self-Harms. I'd like for those people to know that they are not alone at all. Even if they feel like it. Cutting, burning, and any other way of Self-Harm is very serious. Teens may cut too deep at one point, and then they have accidentally killed themselves. It has happened. These kids and adults need to know that people are out there, that do the same things.
