I am a veteran with documented PTSD, severe anxiety and severe depression. I am like a walking time bomb. I have never hurt anyone but I am scared that it may happen. So far I just yell and I am very scary when it happens. I applied for compensation 4 years ago and my case is still pending. My case is being decided in Philadelphia. I tried to work. This who situation has killed my credit. I can not even get a VA loan to drop my interest. The whole thing gets me upset because I feel hopeless. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I am get the VA to move faster?
One of the keys to the VA is having the right representation. I had the Military of the Purple Heart for several years and they did quite alot but it took another veterans group to push it along to the end. I don't know what Pa has to offer but mae sure your representatives are doing their job. Also, the American Legion has a Service Representative that can submit appeals and they have some clout. Good luck my friend - you deserve to be treated with respect and honor for your service - and - thank you for your service!!
