UCSF Challenge for the Children

UCSF and Causes have joined forces this holiday season in the Bay Area’s most exciting fund raising initiative, the UCSF Challenge for the Children, to benefit the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Individuals and teams from across the Bay Area will use the power of social media to compete in raising awareness and dollars for an organization setting a new standard of care for children and their families.

The individual or team that rallies the highest number of donations at any level will claim the naming rights to The Link. This prominent gathering space will promote play, learning and discovery for children and their families, located within the future children’s hospital at Mission Bay.

Funds raised through the Challenge will go toward the 183-bed UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital at Mission Bay, which, upon completion in 2014, will set a new world-class standard for patient- and family-centered health care, safety, sustainability and translational medicine.
