The Jerry Sandusky Verdict: What Have We Learned?
Now that Jerry Sandusky has been found guilty of child sexual abuse, the question before us as a society is: What have we learned? We have learned that communities are prepared to come together and support healthy, happy childhoods and the prevention of child sexual abuse before it ever occurs.

Protecting the defenseless, innocence of the purest and closest form of Gods creation.Anyone who can hurt a defenseless creature, is not human.I believe in capital punishment, especially, for anyone who hurts a child in any way, shape or form.....
It should be banned, and who ever video tapped it,including the woman ,both should be exterminated.
And the baby,I will take him.....Honest to God!

MAY GOD BLESS EVERY SINGLE CHILD & ADULT WHO IS BEING ABUSED IN EVERY WAY!
Betsy I am so there with you! it literally takes a lifetime to deal with the lasting effects of child abuse!
Thanks for replying to my post...Yes Marny it is...
I am a victim of child abuse as is my 4 brothers. I'm now 45 and I try to help as many people as I can. It is such a shame that people feel the need to over power children... so sad
Me too Cyndi, I'm sorry. Love you
Because I came from a home where there was abuse and nobody would listen and still acts like it was no big deal. Mental abuse as well as the physical leaves deep scars. Please listen if a child or even teen comes to you.
I didn't come from an abuse but, they were for sure screwed up.
Know that feeling!! ^ Maybe we are better parents for it. I know I love my daughters and granddaughters more than life itself. If I smother them it is because I don't want anything to happen to them.
A child should be allowed to be a child. We live in a world of secrets! From one generation to the next keeping family secrets. Families protect the predator but not the innocent. I know this, I lived this! Torture, incest, and daily physical abuse. Like Carley Voyce, I too live with PTSD. I am not a shamed. I don't care for the survivor term either. It happened to me because the generation before me never stepped up to end this insanity. So it was allowed to happen to me. I did what they...

It happened to me because the generation before me never stepped up to end this insanity. So it was allowed to happen to me. I did what they couldn't - I ended this cycle of abuse from repeating itself on the next generation. I stood up and said, This is enough! I saught help, I educated myself on how this all came to be. One by one, It is up to us to do our part to protect the innocent. Make this the generations that ends Child Abuse.
GOOD FOR YOU dear one!
I too am a survivor
because I was abused as a child and at 71 years of age I'm still hurting because of it.
I can completely relate
me too
Totally unacceptable, any type of child abuse-physical, sexual, emotiinal, verbal. As a child, I myself has to endure some of these abuses. Anyone who does this to a child, MUST be punished to the extent
According to to the Child Protective Services in Oklahoma none of this is abuse or neglect I have rights to a migraine kids the girl was molested the age of 5 another grandchild was hit legs shot at with BB gun another 1 was poisoned and none of this is against the law
