the fact that in 2009 we still have to have a gay rights movement is LUDICROUS. The rights that the GLBT people ask for should be a GIVEN. its the same "rights" that everyone else has... and it saddens me that we can still be held down and held back due to someone elses religious beliefs, thoughts, or ideals... didnt we immigrate here to escape religious persecusion?! don't we have protection with seperation of church and state?! guess that doesnt apply to us... like i said ludicrous. we'll just have to keep fighting..

I COMPLETELY support gay rights. Straight peole have rights, why shouldn't gay peole have the same ones. :D

I am a lesbian, out as of oct. 4 2008
but b4 that i was confused, calling myself bi. this summer at my upward bound program we a stereotype J-Co meeting, we put posters with diffrent stereotypes on the walls and every1 wrote the 1st thing that cam 2 mind when thinking of those ppl, when it came 2 'homosexuals' i couldnt beleive how many great things were said, words like 'strong' and 'proud' were written. only a couple ppl wrote something mean, but they couldnt even say who they were, they were afraid 2(probly cuz they knew it was wrong) but sitting there with my GF at the time, reading these amazing words, it was inspiring, only a couple months later i finally told my best friend that im a lesbian. i have the support of almost evry1 i kno. its amazing to see how many ppl can b open-minded!!

I am GAY and very proud of who I am. I lived for a very long time in and out of the closet. My father was a southern baptist pastor, and growing up in that kind of a house hold we had very traditional believes. I knew for a very long time, and only told a handful of people. I joined the military when I turned 18 to escape it all, hoping that maybe it would "cure" me. When actually as a matter of fact being surrounded by a bunch of guys....well it just made my feelings that much more stronger. Now I was stuck, thousands of miles from home, who could I trust, I found trust in this one other boy. I can not remember his name but I remember those dark hazel eyes, he looked at me, held me and everything was fine. I learn to keep it a secret for almost my whole career which was only a couple of years, but towards the end, I stopped caring anymore. Now that I am fully out, I feel amazing, I am a lot more happier, more energetic. I am absolutely loving life, and living life. For anyone who has been in the closet and is now out, they know the feeling. Although, lol...for those who are near and dear to me know, I dont hide very well. I'm bisexual and if I wanted to get married to a guy I would just go to a pagan church and get Handfasted. Its the easiest way for gay's and lesbians to get married. So support Gays and Lesbians and o don't forget us pagans. we can make your life a little easier.

i am also straight but totally support gay rights. i am a proud daughter of a lesbian mom. people need to get over the hate man. i couldnt have had a more wonderful,loving and understanding mother. god rest her soul. i love you ma. my dad always tried to make jokes about my moms lady and ask me how my new step daddy was doing, so i casually said to him SHE is doing just fine. any way just wanted all gay,lesbian,and bi wonderful people to know that i have much love for ya. and will always stand up for your rights. I am not gay but im a 14 year old bisexual girl...I SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS 100%...Ppl is always judging a book by its cove, when they have not got to know the book itself...I am rlly GLAD they made this cause...This is not a choice u choose...Its just LOVE ppl can't help who they fall in love with no matter if its a girl/girl, boy/boy, boy/girl with another girl....girl/boy/boy...Its about time the gays/lesbians/and bi's start showing their true colors....
