We're pleased to introduce some of the most passionate members of the Connect For Good community. Earlier this year, we asked our most engaged and active members to tell us why they are a part of the Connect For Good community, and which charities they care most about and why. After an excellent response with hundreds of submissions, we have chosen six organizations to receive $5000 each. I would like to support the SPCA. Animals are defenseless without us and need our help, especially abused or homeless animals in the winter who need a place to stay. Most of all I support no kill shelters who use volunteers to help the animals get their forever family like they deserve.
Julie, I have adopted 4 dogs and 3 cats in the past 5 yrs from local adoption/shelter organizations in my area of Illinois. I adore them all... my "babies"... *S*S*
Julie, we rescued a beautiful bulldog mastive the week of Christmas and are risking our home (landlord doesn't allow) to give him the family he deserves. We have been looking for a home for him, but now he is a member of the family. The landlord said either he goes or we go. I am saving up just in case we get caught ;) Let our Sam have a family!
