Maintaining arts in public schools is critical in my opinion because the Arts prepare students for the real world by exposing them to culture, and teaching critical thinking which is very much needed. Arts Education stimulates and develops the imagination and critical thinking, and refines cognitive and creative skills.

With out art in school children wont be incouraged to express themselves look for fresh problem solving ideas can connect with symbols. Taking away art from public schools is poor support of all childrens welfare and hopes and dreams as the arts are part of our culture and society and a special way of story telling the best way for children to learn things. Do not take what is rightfully theirs self expression. I am a mother and back my son in all aspect including the arts if he wanted too in any way. This would be robbing their souls and voices in so many ways and a form of control I wont allow.
