The Gary Morales Memorial HWY
St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Gary Morales was shot and killed on 2/28/13 during a traffic stop. Sgt. Morales gave the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect his community. Re-naming or dual naming a county road to the Gary Morales Memorial HWY would be a great tribute to his service

Why is this campaign important to you?
Our Troops deserve, and they have earned the right to call their families! If I had a husband, son or daughter over there, I would want to hear from them. Our Troops need to know they are loved and missed! God Bless all our Troops and keep them safe!
What a small price to pay to show support for our troops!!
With the things our soldiers see and do after the mission is over the phone would be a big comfort for them. My husband is retired army medically 100% and he some missions that involved young children and not all made it and they had to endore alot of pain which really bothered him for children were small and if he would have been able to call us it would've eased his mind beeing able to call us.
Communication with our loved ones is so important. It helps them out so much and gives them a reason for going on. It lets them know that they are loved and thought about and somebody is waiting for them t come back. It gives us both hope. God Bless our men and my grandson.
It's extremely important for our troops to be able to stay in touch with those whom they are fighting for-with those whom freedom they are defending.
I cannot imagine having a loved one and no communication with them...this isn't the 40's America, this is a vital tool for tracking our loved ones as well!
MY HUSBAND HAS A SON THERE.
