Not just because of my Cherokee ancestry (my 3rd great-grandfather) but because they were the FIRST people to set foot in North America, and were living peacefully with God and Nature, when the Europeans arrived and began their ritual genocide. IT HAS TO STOP NOW! Their human and civil rights are 520 years'-worth of waiting. Their time has come.
