Demand a Plan to End Gun Violence

This cause is not important nor should it even matter. GUNS are not the problem, the problem is people.
The true problem was when they took GOD out of schools. How can GOD bless a nation that does not acknowledge his existence. The ten commandments are good rules to live by and follow even if you don't believe in GOD. "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety". Ben Franklin said this and if you want more restrictions on firearms then know this. By giving up our rights this solves nothing. It only gives our corrupt government and criminals more power to push us around. Guns are probably one of the many reasons we have never been invaded (Us the citizens have so many) the other being they would also have to deal with our military. There are roughly 90 guns per 100 citizens in the US.
So if you really want to give up the second amendment then you also need to destroy the black market because that's how criminals get a hold of their weapons when they can't buy them legally at the Gun Shop. In order to even put a dent in the black market one would have to legalize all drugs. This would strangle the terrorist and organized crime because most of their funding comes from selling drugs. Not to mention since 2006 56k plus Mexicans have been killed by the Mexican drug cartels. The real question should be who has drug prohibition benefited. It sure as hell did not benefit those 56k plus innocent Mexicans. It only benefits organized crime and terrorists. But I thought we were at war with terrorist and the feds have something called the war on organized crime. It just goes to show you they really don't care at all for the innocent people.
If they were to legalize all drugs and educate the masses on the dangers. Within the first month all kinds of junkies would overdoes and that would be a wake up call for a lot of people. My point is drug prohibition only kills innocent people it really helps no one except for criminals and terrorist. So if you really want to stop this from ever happening again you would have to legalize all drugs and take away the second amendment. Yes of course the president could sign a bill to take all of our guns away. But then you should also ask yourself this. Who in their sane mind would wait in a line to hand over their expensive firearms that protect them from from criminals. I can tell you that I would not. They will have to pry my guns from my cold dead hands. The constitution protects us and any government that tries to infringe on our rights is a treasonous government.
Okay so here is my question. SO if the government really did ban all guns and abolished the 2nd amendment. And then legalize drugs to destroy organized crime and the terrorist. The who is going to stop the anime nerd from bringing a samurai sword to school. I mean, seriously, how far are you people really going to take this because there is plenty or more weapons that some crazy psychopath can use? I can just see it now Obama is going to sign the bill that bans all chainsaws.
Honestly what we need is more police at schools. When we invade a country we don't demand that the country pass laws to ban all firearms. we fight fire with fire. That is exactly what we need to do to protect our children as a nation. We need more police presence in the schools. That or here is a great idea let teachers conceal and carry that way they can protect the youth of our nation.

Do you blindly follow what others believe or do you decide what is best based on your rights and the information given to you as a citizen? Your answer should be that you think for yourself and are not a follower. Sheep are easily guided but last time I checked I was not a sheep so I will not follow any man. I choose to self educate to better myself and I don't blindly accept everything on the news half of it is lies anyway. If all American's would do the same and maybe read the constitution and the declaration of independence. You would all realize that it is our job to protect ourselves not the governments.
If we had no guns then who would protect us from the government, robbers, rapists, and organized criminals. The answer is no one. Because they would all still have guns they would get them no matter what. The black market will always thrive as long as something is illegal. If you truly want to make a difference home school you kid and this will never be an issue. Even though I am not sure you people are educated enough yourselves to teach you kids anything at least they won't die if they are in the safety of your own home and you own a firearm or two.
