I went to school with a girl who accused this guy of assault. It was well known that she was having sex with other guys at the time, but she blamed this guy because her mother put her up to it, to protect her boyfriend and step dad who were really abusing this girl. She even lied about forgetting her bike at school, so she would have an excuse to be late getting home after having sex with a classmate. The guy she blamed did everything for this girl. It cost alot of money, ten's of thousands of dollars, to clear ones name after being accused. Alot of people don't have this kind of money, so they plea deal out to stay with family instead of risking prison for something they didn't do. Others did have sex with minors, (12-17 year olds) because they were to weak minded to say no. Alot of these so called victims were the instigators in this sexual romp, and it was all consensual. Some men do not have the ability to say no to a naked girl, how many would? I can't answer that question. All I can say is that the media and the politicians want people to believe that there are a great many "predators" out there as a scare tactic to pass their agendas. In reality, most was consensual sex and the age of accountabilty for these girls should probably be lowered, as in other countries. Until then, alot more innocent people will be added to the sex offender registry.
