Pornography is a plague. I add my voice to each of yours in this cause against pornography. It is my desire to help as many people be from this plague as possible. I want to mention something else also related to Youtube, as I was reading Bethanys post below.
Several porn companies bring their trash into Youtube, and their adult videos get linked to the same videos posted to combat child exploitation. One way they do it is to use the same keywords we would use in our own videos. Obviously if we post a video and we choose the keywords "adult supervision" because we recommend supervising our kids right? The keyword "adult" is aa common word that people type in when they are searching for porno. So adult videos will get rellated-linked to anti-porno videos. And the keyword "anti-porno" will get it's vdeos linked to porno videos. It's a simple fact of how search enngines work. So if you or your child watches a few videos designed to help matters, Youtube is building a suggested list of "recommended" videos, which will pop up on your home page and those recommeded videos are the smut videos. That is just 1 simple methiod of how they do it. Why do they do it? Money of course. The very common ones are the soft or "teaser" porn - which is spam (also against Youtube policy) and those spam videos are designed to get the viewer out of Youtube and onto their pay site. If they get deleted in a week or a day even, they just create a new account and start over.
I spend a LOT of time studying this kind of behavior and I guess it has gotten to the point that I seem to have a personal ventetta against Youtube. That's why I'm asking for help.

While typically I am much more concerned with fighting and ending Child Pornography, Child Prostitution, Child Trafficking, and in general, help children be free of all those who prey on them. Additionally however, I respect and support those who wish to end pornography altogether. That's why I have come to this group with a particular issue that has really been burning at me.
It involves Youtube and a particular account - that account name is "Hastify". On any given day One may go to that account channel page and they daily (hourly is probably more realistic) post full blown adult pornography. There is no warning that the channel should be supervised by adults, and posting ANY pornography on Youtube is a breach of the Youtube Account Policy. I have gone through and personally flagged every video they post. Within a day, youtube will delete that video(s), but I garuntee that within a few hours, the user will post more. The account has several subscribers as well, and if anyone wants to trace the subscribers, you may be sickened to find so many people who post "legitiman" videos of their own infant children and then turn around and subscribe to the trash. Nice family values huh?
I would like to know why Youtube allows this kind of behavior from their client accounts? Could it be that since hastify generates so much traffick - hence more advertisements - hence more income for Youtube that they are playing ignorant and look the other way? I can certainly garuntee you that if I personally were to post even 1 adult video, that my account would be deleted immediatly, and I may also face legal charges. So can someone tell me what's going on here?
Youtube allows children to have accounts. Therefore, children, perhaps your own children could be watching at any time? Of course we as parents need to supervise our children, but at the same time, Youtube is, or should be responsible for it's clients accounts wouldn't you think?
Am I completely berzerk or are they as blatantly ignoring their own policies as those who are breaking them?
I am well aware that there is porno ALL over the Internet. However, when a corporation says in writing that they do not allow such, then they are stating "We are a family oriented corporation, and we welcome your children to our website".
Additionally myself and some confidential contacts at least "suspect" that the account "Hastify" has posted videos which at least "suggest" child pornography. That was reported to Cybertipline America, as per the recommendations of ECPAT USA and WEB547 Taiwan - both of which have the common interest of helping prevent Child Exploitation. However, so far, as I said already, the account goes on about it's merry way day after day?
NOW a word of caution - since I mentioned the account name, that makes it possible for anyone reading this post to find them on Youtube. I don't want to post the exact link because that makes it even easier from any child reading this post to just click it. But if you don't believe me, please do email me, and I'll give you the exact link. I would be very happy to have some help of some of you with more experience on how to knock this person off of their high horse, and better yet someone who knows more than myself about dealing with Youtube itself for allowing it to go on as it has.

My whole life has been affected by porn. It destroyed my family and destroyed many, many lives of those who I hold dear. Innocense is lost b/c of this industry. It has robbed many, many people I know of their childhood, their trust and faith, and their dreams.
Not one facet of the victims' lives goes untouched by this. How a person makes day to day decisions is affected....a lot of us who are affected become drug addicts or alcoholics -- trying to cope with the insurmountable array of emotions that there are no words for.
We sabotage our own relationships when overwhelming fear over rides rationality and/or reality. We fear we are not loved for who we are, but by what we look like. Some of us become what we hate the most -- strippers, prostitutes, playboy pin-ups because we have devalued ourselves.
Some of us never get beyond being the victim...causing us to easily be victimized again and again and again.
I have seen so many lives stripped of happiness, and of so many other things b/c of this and this alone. So many people cannot function or live a normal life b/c of what the porn industry has done to them. It creates child molesters, rapists, broken marriages, broken homes, broken hearts, and broken lives and puts more women back into this industry b/c they are taught to value themselves as objects and are taught that this is acceptable behavior and that this how they are loved.
This is a very dark and sick industry that destroys people in many ways. There are no limits to it's usage from it being used in simple advertisements of all variety, in music videos, tv shows for all and any age group, movies, cartoons, magazine covers, music lyrics, and there are even women and children who walk around looking like advertisements for the industry themselves -- in order to draw that kind of attention to themselves. It is really heartbreaking and sad.
Society as a whole needs to change so there isn’t such an emphasis on how one should look, dress and act. Society as a whole needs to be re-taught what respect is -- respect for themselves and for others.
It has to start at home.

I cannot count the number of people I know whose relationships have been burdened, and even destroyed, by pornography. A shocking number of churched middle school and high school students have admitted to viewing porn on a regular basis. My prayer is that porn will no longer be taken lightly or as a joke. Heather, I say that we should pray and discuss this issue inside and outside the church. We need to remind people of the damage it does to males and females, young and old....Christian and Non-Christian. We need to remember that none of us are above any sin and that all of us could fall into temptation. But we also need to remember that this is a spiritual battle. Let us stay strong, and sensitive, spread the Good News that Jesus Christ can deliver people from ANY addiction. May God receive all the glory and honor and praise!

I also agree that the best way to fight it is to pray against it, to pray everyday for the men that you know, husbands, brothers, fathers, etc, that God protects them from the huge temptation that pornography is, because it is everywhere unfortunately and it's all too easy to stumble upon it without meaning to and get caught up in it.
