I got an email from an Albuquerque, New Mexico police detective responding to my email to her about the woman that they said was reported missing in 2006 and identified as one of the victims. She said that they believe the victims are local women to their area, as you can see from her message, I pasted it below. So, I am a touch more at ease, but still...not looking forward to tomorrow if these numbers keep rising.

Ms Grant, I received your email regarding your Jessie. I believe your question is in regards to the female prostitute the pimp was found putting in the trunk of his car. That female was positively identified in 2006 at the time of the incident. The list of reported missing girl mentioned in the article are all local to the Albuquerque area. The remains we are currently finding will be identified using the DNA of family members in the national data base, Which it sounds like you are already a part of.
