Hey Staying Alive FB Supporters!

There are only a couple days left in the globalgiving challenge! We still need your help and your donations. We can not do this without you. Please donate today and help educate people on the AIDS epidemic and save lives!!

Every donation helps, and no donation is too small. You can make donations to the Staying Alive Foundation for as little as $25 and make an impact.

Please help us achieve our goal of $4,000 from 50 donors by June 30 by making a donation to the Staying Alive Foundation on GlobalGiving. www.globalgiving.com/2876

Please ask your friends and family to help out with this cause!

Thank you!

Thankyou Kelly for continuing to shine a light on this subject!! This is s subject that cannot be spoken about enough. Especially with statistics like," if BLACK AMERICA were a country in AFRICA we would have the second highest rate of HIV of all the countries." Since testing negative at a VA Hospital in HAWAII I made a pledge to never have sex again unless I saw someone else's results just to make sure I had no part of bringing a child into the world who may possibly have HIV. A person may not have HIV but having sex with someone who does could still mean a child could be born with this disease. Thats reason alone you would think to make everyone CHANGE. If everyone followed this practice I think we could at least put a dent in the numbers. I think the era of the ONE-NIGHT-STAND should be long over!!!I personally could not live with that feeling of not knowing, like you said before a test. It scary enought but it has to be done. I even have a idea for a database to be created so people can put their latest test result online. This would seem to make the world slightly safer also.
Keep up the good work KELLY!! The creator I believe rewards sacrifices for the benefit of mankind. I think he will also reward GOOD DEEDS like bringing attention to something with your time in the SPOTLIGHT of THE WORLD!!!!Using your status for a CAUSE, and being a part of the SOLUTION during several epidemics and global crisis situations. Are children need to be steered by anyone influential toward being FOCUSED. LOVE YOU GODBLESS

Dear Staying Alive Facebook Supporters!

Thank for your continued support and interest in the Staying Alive Foundation.
We wanted to let you know that MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation is participating in GlobalGiving’s American Open challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working in the United States.

Now through June 30, if Staying Alive can raise at least $4,000 from at least 50 donors, we will earn a permanent spot on www.GlobalGiving.com , the internationally recognized marketplace for philanthropy that connects individual donors to the causes they care most about. We really need your help! As little as 50 donations can help our Foundation make a huge difference in someone else’s life! This is your chance to save one or more young people, like you, from having to battle this deadly epidemic.

Every donation helps, and no donation is too small. You can make donations to the Staying Alive Foundation for as little as $25 and make an impact. In addition to helping us earn a spot on GlobalGiving, the organizations that raise the most money will earn a bonus $1,000-$3,000. The organization that recruits the most donors will earn an extra $3,000.

The Staying Alive Foundation is very excited about this opportunity and reaching a whole new network of donors to help our charity. Please help us achieve our goal of $4,000 from 50 donors by June 30 by making a donation to the Staying Alive Foundation on GlobalGiving. The link to our site is - http://www.globalgiving.com/proj... . Please share this with your friends and family and ask them to help too!

Thank you!

There's only one way of preventing HIV infection through sex - and it's using a CONDOM! All these tales of disinfectants etc are utter rubbish... Besides if you start spraying disinfectants you'll cause yourself and your partner damage...

So please, everyone, listen up - bleach, disinfectants, showering after sex and all the other tall tales you hear are 100% not true. Condoms are the only the only things proven to work...
