Those who are trapped and addicted to pornography need to know they are loved and valued by those around them. Men, let's start being men and actively support each other and talk to each other, probing each others' hearts so that the captives may be set free. From experience and all the men I've spoken to, having other guys express interest in me as a Brother and who have been actively concerned about my soul and my purity has been more of a help than anything else worldly or temporal. Let's stick together as Brothers! Women, it's the same thing: stay together and do not be afraid to discuss problems in this area. For those who are married, it is more difficult at first, but pays off a hundred fold, to discuss the problems with your spouse than to live in agony.

Fornication is a sin, lust, adultery, and it is very harmful to entertain it, or yet alone allow the open gate of hell to consume you into the lake of fire. It's not healthy at all, and it can make a sick person go hurt anyone, children, or adults.

< Galatians 5:13-26 >
“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”

I have personally experienced this addiction and until you have been through it, it seems like no big deal. It destroyed my relationship with my fiancee. It really is sad.

I just entered a list from book on my blog of sabotaging beliefs that drive addicts back to porn again and again. Once identified, with the right tools and God's help these beliefs are easily cleared, and moving in a positive direction becomes much easier. Check out the list on my blog at:

I joined this cause because it needs to be spoken about and the damage acknowledged. I believe most people just don't comprehend the damage internet pornography does to families and communities ...."it's nothing" ... "it's a joke" ... "it's harmless" ...mmmmmmmmmmm ... a bit like having kids, until you are in the th...ick of something and experiencing the damage... you have no idea. Open your eyes and ears. Think instead of just accepting everything as normal. Question things around you. All is not ok. See More

Pornography had a huge impact on my one and only marriage and now I see it everywhere. Men seem to think it's just normal, how did things get so out of control?

My fiancee and I broke off our engagement and broke up because of that crap. It is an addiction and people need to get help. It is becoming an epidemic and ruining relationships all over the place.

I joined because, pornography is an epademic. It destroys relationships, it destroys your relationship with Jesus Christ, and brings a delusion to what God Intended to be between one man, and one woman! As a Christian I battled this addiction for many years, and just could not seem to get free, and thought I never would be able to get free, and although even now sometimes the temptation is there, strong accountability is the weapon of choice against this monster. I would do almost anything to help get pornography off the interenet, and this I belive is a strong start.

I almost lost my marriage to an addiction to pornography. It's more addicting than drugs and alcohol in my opinion. I've got a song called "Truth Be Told" that I wrote in dealing with the issue. Check it out and it's synopsis at www.myspace.com/brendonmusiclive

This cause is very needed. I knew that porn was out there especially on TV, but I didn't know how large it was on the dating interent websites. I see so many people who put their religion as christian, but are so very deep into this. God will forgive this sin, but the person has to be aware that it is sin, and wants to be delivered from it. I see a very big part of the addition is married men. They have in their mind that there isn't enough passion in their marriages anymore, and they seem to feel that it is all in having their selfish satisfaction of the flesh met. The whole porn thing is that it is lying to ones self that something is real when it is only make belief. One time is never enough and it pulls them deeper and deeper into this destructuion of their lives, families, and marriages. I pray that something can be done to stop this terrible sin, that has ruined so many families and innocent children. God is the only hope for deliverance.
