Porn has attempted to destroy my life. I would say that porn destroyed my life but I won't give satan that victory because Christ is redeeming my life and everything the devil has stolen from my life. Pornography has tried to destroy my social life. Growing up I used to be the first one to go up to a stranger and make conversation and now I barely talk to my friend or make conversation with strangers on campus. Needless to say it my friendships were destroyed because I would try and take them to far as possible without hurting anyone which I hurt myself and them by reenacting what I saw as normal in porn videos. It's also tried to destroy my future marriage by perverting my view of intimacy in the marriage, now I just pray that I can be pure for my future wife and kids and that I never mess up or try acting out old things I use to view. It frustrates me as well. But God is good and I'm walking it out under God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit's guidance. It also led me to use prescription drugs which stemmed from my frustration and anger and every time I've screwed up I've thought about using weed or pain killers again. Porn attempts to destroy. Unfortunately most people think this battle is a joke and that they can quit anytime like there's no spiritual warfare going on.

So many believe that it is harmless, but this tool of Satan is the biggest deception there is. He destroys marriages, frustrates men, adds to the fuel of the evils of rape and molestation. It harms many.

GOD has blessed my wife and I with a pure relationship from dating through ten years of marriage. I support this cause, because I have seen the horrible effects of initernet porn has had on couples very close to my heart! It's not a struggle of mine and I want to keep it that way! I believe in being assertive and proactive. I want to help as many men I can struggling with this addiction. There is hope and help in God!

I am supporting the fight against internet pornography and all the other forms it takes. Pornography DOES destroy marriages, families and contributes to the break down of society in general. Pornography is very addictive. It has been clearly proven to be the leading cause of rapes and violence, both in the home and to the broader public. Don't be fooled, pornography will cost you very dearly in the end and I am not talking about money. If you are already addicted and are struggling against it, then I can tell you that Jesus Christ came to set the captive free. If you are into pornography, you are both a captive and a sinner. Repent (confess and turn away from you lust, and all sin) and put you trust in Jesus Christ. You will find the answer to deliverance in the Bible. Start out by reading the New Testament and ask for light from God.

check us out on: www.stop.org.za - porn destroys morals, minds and marriages - it doesn't discriminate it can and does effect everyone.. its the cultural equivalent of second hand cigarette smoke! You may not look for it or even want it but it's all around us and in one way or another it's harming us no matter on what side of the camera we are. be careful and be warned cause once it 'bites' you it's then too late .... from Clive

Thank you for this cause. A book that is also really helping me is 'The Mortification of sin - John Owen', which I am reading at the moment. It (porn, lust etc) steals away your heart; wastes your possessions & time; and finally numbs you to Eternal Judgment. www.needGod.com

Hi. My name is Harry Ashcroft and I have been addicted to porn since 12 years old. I was first exposed to it when I was seven or eight. I have been a born again believer for 12 years but only in the last year have gotten serious about fighting my addiction. God cornered me and showed me a vision of what being caught in my addiction would do to me, my marriage, and my church as I was a leader in the Church. The fear of being held to account for the devastation that fallen leaders do to their ministries was enough for me to come clean. I figured however that confession meant that I would lose my marriage and my friends in church. I couldn't have been more wrong... My Church has people who have gone through this battle and are walking free on the other side of addiction and want nothing more then to walk with men or women struggling in this area. I started a program last this year called Freedom Session, which helps people walk through this battle. I will be upfront, Freedom Session is a Christ Centered Recovery Program. This past year, I have grown more in my walk with Christ through walking through Freedom session and having strong accountability partners to keep me honest. If you are a Christian, do not think that you are alone in your struggle.. You can send me a message(Harry Ashcroft) and I can connect you to men who will gladly walk and pray and keep beside you as you fight for your life and ministry that the enemy would seek to destroy. I love you and so does Christ. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!! REACH OUT AND GET FREEDOM!!!

This is an awesome cause! My husband had been addicted to pornography since he was in Jr. High. We are both Christians and when we met (college) we discussed our beliefs and discovered we both were virgins and were waiting to have sex until we were married. Well I didn't find out until after we were married that he had this addiction. In my mind looking at pornography is cheating on me, so needless to say this addiction almost ended our marriage. After our first son was born he slipped again but realized how much looking at pornography not only hurt me, but also hurt him and our family. We have prayed about this addiction every day, and thanks to God my husband has not slipped up again. I know that this is an ongoing battle and I am doing everything I can to not only help him but to help others who struggle with this! God bless everyone who struggles with this and is willing to ask for help! God will reward you!

Justin, all sexual sin is an offense to God. The Jesus whose name you mock states quite clearly, "on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak" (Matthew 12:36). That includes you, and that includes your wall post. However, that same Jesus is willing to pardon you; if you confess your sin (1 John 1:9), humble yourself (James 4:6), and repent (Luke 13:5), God will forgive you of your sin and cleanse your heart. You don't know when you're going to die and stand before Him, so don't wait.

Pornography is just as addictive as any other addiction. It does ruin marriages, families etc... I lost my soul mate over this. As with any addiction if you have to hide it from others it clearly is doing you no good. People are human. Satan wants it hidden so he can destroy. If you reach out and speak about it, that puts you in control ! No one is exempt. Men seem worried that they will be made fun of by there buddies. SO ! Take a stand.... Real men dont need porn. God gave you a wife cherish her. Sure there are pretty women everywhere. You can notice and turn, its not worth the road your about to go down. We help the alchoholics, drug addicts, food addicts etc... Lets reach out more to the family that is being torn apart because of pornopraphy. It's time to recognize this for what it is. It leads to nothing good like any other addiction. Don't let fantasy take the place of reality ! I pray for any and all dealing with this horrible hidden cancer. Hey, If the world says it ok than it must be right ? The world says hey if it feels good do it ! The Lord says.... as a man thinketh so is he. He gives you two roads a right one and a wrong one. You'll no when you hit the wrong one. Your lost ! If your heart is tellin you HEY this is wrong, its the Lord whispering NO ! If you ignore it and do what makes you feel good. It will feel good for a season. Is it really worth all that ??????

Thanks for all you are doing in the fight against pornography. Many times I have felt like a lone voice in my efforts to help those with this problem. I am glad to rub shoulders with people who have a similar vision. What Covenant Eyes is doing is great - I am all for any tool that can help stem the tide of this insidious problem. I believe pornography to be a plague that is one of the most serious threats to individuals, marriages, families, communities, and the world. It truly brings profound darkness into the life of those involved with it, as well as those around them. What the world needs is the light of Christ, the only source of true healing. If you know of anyone already addicted to porn, I have about a 90% success rate in helping addicts be free of the pull of porn. Feel free to contact me regardless of your location.

I think that you need to understand that pornography can be very tempting and addictive for people who have started on it. I guess i will tell you haw easy it is to go to a porn site by mistake when your computer is not screened. recently doing a report on the weapon spears I remember when I clicked on a site and it wasnt about the spears the Actor and it was full of porn i got out of it quick but its just an example of how uncensored the internet can be.
