What can I say: the round barn in Arcadia, Oklahoma; the Masonic Lodge in Guthrie, Oklahoma; Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota; the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia; Alcatraz in the San Francisco Bay; the Everglades in Florida. We need to keep these historic sites for generation after generation to enjoy. I donate to this organization every month as well as several other causes featured here.

I caretake a five hundred acre plantation on Edisto Island SC. The main house is circa 1790. I farm the land and keep the formal grounds maintained. There is no better place to call work. There are many plantations on Edisto and all over the southeast for that matter. I feel very strongly in the matter of conservation easements and ask that if you know anyone with even an acre of land to please preserve it forever. This world is growin alot faster than mother earth can keep up with and if we dont do something fast everything is goin to be a mall a hotel or a cookie cutter home neighborhood. Noone is ready for what is already happening.
