Relief for Earthquake Victims in China

1. On Monday, May 12, a major earthquake, measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale, jolted southwestern China's Sichuan Province.

2. The earthquake left thousands dead, and many more are injured or missing.

3. The American Red Cross will support the relief efforts-- including providing emergency supplies, personnel and/or financial assistance.
