Rhino Rouge are ready. We went for our practice on Sunday behind the Ngong Hills and we had a quick mechanics course refresher with Ian McRae. Ian has worked on our car and she is in tip top shape. We are loading the car into the truck tomorrow and packing up the camp. The trucks are off on Thursday and the teams head to the venue Saturday 29th. On Sunday we will go to scrutineering where the officials check our cars and at 5pm we get the map and the co-ordinates. And then.... at 7.30 am on 31st May… Read More

We are delighted to have raised our pledge of KES One Million for Rhino Ark ahead of Saturday 8th May's Briefing at Braeburn School. The car is at Ian McRae's for fine tuning and we are set to Charge on 31st May 2010. Thank you all for the support you show us.

Car 17 are taking part in this year's Quattro Charge which is scheduled to take place on 1st November 2009. This year, the Quattro Charge is being held at a spectacular new venue at Lukenya Hill. Tanya will be drivng with Helle as her navigator

On Saturday 10th May we were told that we are to check in at Nanyuki and that the last check point is near Isiolo - that is as much info as we know ! So we are off to Samburu land again and counting down now. 17 days from now we will have been moving for around 3.5 hours xxx our fundraising efforts are going well; the car is looking GOOD :) and we are getting organised. We have heard there are 3 other all girls/ ladies teams which is good - it is much more fun to have other teams to compete against - ofcourse we are competing for THE trophy and as always are aiming for a top ten placing. Wish us luck x
