Restoring hope and building community, as well as meeting the basic needs of the homeless, with the ultimate goal of holistic sustainable life change.

Nomsa is a movement to restore the homeless and impoverished by building community and creating programs focused on sustainable change while raising awareness of homelessness.

We choose to not turn our heads but instead to open our hearts. We welcome any who would like to join us as we re-imagine what it means to love as an action and how to break the cycle of perpetual homelessness.

Right now our focus is meeting the basic needs of our homeless friends: food, clothing, warmth, community. Our heart, and thus our ultimate goal, is for heartfelt long term change in the lives of our homeless friends.

Nomsa's mission is to raise national awareness about the root causes and perpetuation of homelessness. Our purpose is to build communities of open hearts across America that pull together to create change. We feel the best way to do this is to share our stories, both homeless and housed.

Our hearts are motivated to action by many things but there are a few challenges that stand out:

2. Dedicated to opening our hearts to the cry of the opressed, we work to bring hope and restoration to a world in desperate need of genuine love.

3. We desire to see involuntary and perpetual homelessness come to an end in this country, and we want to be part of making that happen.
