I was cyber-bullied in January of 2006 by a student who threatened to kill me. A day after I was told school administrative and legal action would be taken against the student I was told that the charge was dropped. The student was removed from my class (although I had to see her smiling face each day during the change of classes). The end of school saw the deaths of two close family members and the bullying threat truly affected me and I could not go back to work that September. My whole...

My whole life changed and I had to retire in March with 40% of my pension. Obviously, this cause is important to me for these personal reasons BUT it has affected too many other innocent victims and is a horror of this age of technology.
Not sure "liking" is appropriate here, but you know I was there during this incident and I can verify the devastation that resulted. Maybe "support" is a better word.
Because, it is a rash decision and also kills part of those who survive. Please, if you are considering this option stop it now. God takes us when HE is ready. Bullying is wrong and can potentially hurt innocent people. Kids are often bullied because of their differences or because they don't fit into society's mould. I became very concerned about bullying after giving birth to a daughter who was albino. I anticipated that many of her peers may bully her due to her not looking like everybody else. Thankfully this was not the case as her charming, outgoing, personality won the would be bullies over. I always taught her to love herself and to be...

Thankfully this was not the case as her charming, outgoing, personality won the would be bullies over. I always taught her to love herself and to be proud of her uniqueness. Although it has been a struggle for her she is coming to terms with who she is daily and gaining the confidence she needs to rise above her circumstances. I want to be a voice though for those who are less fortunate and live with bullying daily. Society needs to recognize bullying for the injustice that it is and take a stand against it!
I have a 17yr old daughter, she has been bullied really bad since she started "High School".
It breaks my heart when I see her all upset & crying, becuase of rude & ignorant comments! This NEEDS to STOP!
