If you were a rate payer in Hamilton City NZ- would you support Hamilton City Council-in giving any funding to a RODEO event?
Any comments to your answer?
We have sent a letter to the New Zealand members of Parliament; which party will read the letter; have concerns and voice these?
Now that you are better informed on 'RODEO'- do you consider the issue of 'RODEO' to be the same as 'EROTICA' ? yes /no & please leave a comment that explains your vote

Halt the Indoor Rodeo at Claudelands Arena Hamilton New Zealand
The reality of Rodeo; whilst it is a sad fact that many animals sustain severe if not fatal injuries when used for entertainment in Rodeos, it is perhaps sadder that one can almost guarantee each and every one of them has felt fear and confusion. Add to that, the assault on the senses presented by
"Crash Landing" - 'Have a look at the Horse - recently a cowboy [lol] said they do what they are best at - really?
This photo is disturbing, it features with a recent article " Rodeo Bucks Petition"

INTERNATIONAL RODEO A SHAMBLES
That was my first rodeo attendance and I think it will be my last. Both me and my son walked out of the stadium after 75 minutes.
The occasion was marred by the pungent stench of animal poo which was most off-putting for the appetite.
The sound was …

THE DRAFT CODE OF ANIMAL WELFARE FOR RODEOS IN UNDER REVIEW. IT'S EASY TO MAKE A SUBMISSION, AND WE SHOULD GET HUNDREDS OF NEW ZEALANDERS TO DO SO. SAFE MADE IT QUICK & EASY: Just go to this page and scroll down to where it says "Making your own Submission" http://www.safe.org.nz/Campaigns/Rodeo-abuse/".
Exactly - which is what my submission says, and the submission link above says the same. They should be banned. It's good to put that in every submission we send.
Thanks
I have asked for clarification on when/where/how many times the Mayor has publicly stated her anti-rodeo stance and the answer is - this week in Waikato Times and they can't be bothered getting other examples [according to an email I have received].
that's how we roll in the waikato...memories of asking for v8 details in year one ...anyway the upshot IS (and unbelievable as it is that an elected civil officer would be so silly as to write as they have) that we ELECT people to anser our concerns and questions so the reply that they CAN'T BE BOTHERED is absolutely unfathomable. In taking time to look at the bookings policy documents and what performance indicators HCC needs to see to know it is doing a good job words like LEADERSHIP (locally, regionally and nationally) appear under the column of outstanding city leadership. In the same column....I would refer the writer of the "can't be bothered" to this statement under point 2 - strategic alignment - "The city is led by effective, open and responsive governance". DO I NEED to EXPLAIN this??
I have come to loath Rodeos.. They are so cruel and barbaric Cowboys. Open your eyes!
save a horse, bull or calf ... ride a COWBOY!!!!
