"The world is not black or white. It's all shades, tones, and (some would say) colors. We as humans are not JUST gay, we are not JUST straight, no it's more complicated than that. People may lean more todwards one side of the spectrum, but they are not 'purely' straight, or 'purely' gay. We are a mixture of everything. So when I say, 'I am gay' or 'I am straight' I should really be saying 'I prefir ____' If more people did that then maybe this would be nicer, kinder, more peaceful."
This discussion was said at my school's GSA meeting the other day, it was really powerful and I thought I would share^_^
I'm not gay myself, but I support what GSA does. I miss not joining our GSA club in high school.
I have joined this cause because some family members of mine are Gay. I am proud of them and I always go to the Gay Pride Parade in minnesota! My cousin told me one day there is an orginastion that comes to his school called GPS and him and his friends would go after school to learn about it and learn ways to help out. I was very excited to hear about it and decided to google about it. I learned you guys have a Facebook and I am proud to invite all mt friends and post it on my wall that I have joined.
