Andrew and Abby Szott Foundation

Since December 2007, the Szott Foundation has given more than $130,000 in Gifts of Time to ten different families whose children have been or are being treated at one of the Twin Cities Childrens Hospitals.

1. A parent of a child with life-threatening cancer should be able to quit his/her job to care for the child and the rest

2. A parent and child need to be together during the child's difficult battle with cancer.

3. There is not greater gift than time spent with a child who is probably not going to live to adulthood.

4. No child should have to be concerned about family finances, particularly when fighting for life.
