Help Compassion Help Haiti's Earthquake Victims

Your donation goes to fund this project organized by:
Compassion International, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

The international news is inundated with reports of a 7.3-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti, with the epicenter located just 10 miles from the capital, Port-au-Prince.

The earthquake has produced many aftershocks, including two large ones over 5.0.

There is substantial and widespread damage to the country, and damaged communication lines and cell towers are making communication virtually impossible.

Please support our relief efforts and pray for the safety of our staff, Compassion-assisted children and families and the people of Haiti.

Also pray for the government and leadership in Haiti as they respond to this disaster.

FIVE STAR REVIEW RATING- TIME OUT "Superb' ...Thought-provoking, distressing, shockingly tense and always very sad, it is surely one of the best documentaries of the year." Time Out

"Potent mix of suspense, pathos and indignation" Variety

"Evidently filmed illicitly but betrays none of those signs in a handsome, HD-shot production which seems set for theatrical consumption. Its story is tense and surprisingly moving" Screen International

Things are deteriorating here. The police and thugs
have broken into the shed in Chegutu where JJ put all his
centre pivots and equipment and police have said they can't take a report because they are the ones that have helped the thugs ! Bruce is struggling to get eh dairy cows off.
There is no water near the house now as the thugs have
broken all 3 boreholes and ours is off. The cows now have to walk to the river for water and poor old Ging the horse will have to too. Police are even worse than before if that is possible! It is total anarchy.
The Thomas & Sue xxxxx are having an awful time with the thugs in the garden and cottage, washing themselves in their swimming pool and hanging their washing on Sues line and
demanding that their washing be done in Sues washing
machine. Billy xxxxx is barricaded into his house and Barry xxxxx has moved off on the weekend. Not allot of hope for the near
future and the beatings etc have started in the rural areas so they are busy preparing for the elections already.
I feel very downhearted and in despair.

Laura

With elections next year - I feel they are trying to rid the country of any possible opposition early - so terrible.
With love
Claire and Zach Freeth

I have omitted (xxxx) part of the farmers names that were mentioned in this email as lives are at risk here and there is the fear of retribution from the regime of Satan.

Please pass this latest mail update on to all supporters, organizations, churches & community leaders and keep the farmers of Zimbabwe in your thoughts & prayers make as many people as possible aware of the truth and horror in Zimbabwe.
